I’m a freelance writer and editor based in Toronto. From 2017 to 2020, I worked as a staff writer at NOW Magazine, Toronto’s alt-weekly. I’ve written for Canadian and international publications including The Globe and Mail, FASHION, Toronto Life, enRoute, Toronto Star, National Post, Chatelaine, Hazlitt, Maisonneuve, Narratively and the AV Club.
I like writing long features where I can dig deep into topics I’m passionate about, including affordable housing, the environment, arts and culture, health and urban issues. I also like writing profiles on everyone from musicians and donut slingers, to figure skaters and cannabis entrepreneurs. I’ve worked as an associate editor and contributing editor at House & Home magazine and as a fact checker at FLARE magazine.
I also have experience copyediting and proofreading, as well as writing sponsored content, press releases and website copy.
